We are pleased that Great River Landing has received full tax credit financing from Minnesota Housing and the City of Minneapolis. Next step: We must raise the $1.2 million in a combination of private and public funding it will take to provide the services necessary before we may begin building. No services, no housing. You can help by supporting our legislative agenda at the State Capitol this session.
Great River Landing will be a high-quality apartment building for up to 72 adults, most of them fathers, who are committed to being good parents, workers and community members. The tenants will have a home, a job and access to services promoting heath and recovery. Beacon, with lead congregational collaborators Plymouth Congregational Church and Westminster Presbyterian Church, is planning this housing with service provider Better Futures Minnesota.
