Julie oversees many of the finance and administration activities for Beacon. Her responsibilities include oversight of all accounting activities, production of financial reports and analysis, coordination of the budget and forecasting processes, donation processing and administrative office support. She has over 25 years of finance experience at a large cooperative organization and is excited to shift her focus to non-profit.
Julie holds an MBA in Management from the University of St. Thomas and a BS in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. She is also a Certified Professional Project Manager. In addition to spending time with her husband, two children and many friends, Julie enjoys volunteering at her home congregation, gardening, reading and watching sports.
