Lauren coordinates institutional gifts from foundations and congregations as part of Beacon’s advancement team. She appreciates the opportunity to write about Beacon’s work connecting individuals, families, and communities across the Twin Cities, and engaging in collaborative efforts dedicated to ending homelessness, addressing racial equity and facilitating social change.
Lauren has a background in social work, youth development and family advocacy in the Twin Cities and Seattle. She holds an undergraduate degree in international studies from Macalester College and a master of social work from the University of Washington.
