DESCRIPTION:Beacon’s 2024 Lobby Day will take place in person at the Capitol on Monday\, March 11. Join us and share your passion for housing justice with your elected representatives! \nBeacon staff will schedule your meetings with your representatives. Please register here. The deadline for registration is Tuesday\, March 5 – this helps us do our best to coordinate a meeting time with your district’s elected official. Beacon staff will lead a housing policy training before you meet with your representatives. \nPolicy handouts\, a Beacon t-shirt\, and lunch will be provided. At noon\, a housing policy expert will join all Beacon members for lunch to share their vision for equitable\, sustainable housing in Minnesota and answer questions. We hope you’ll participate! \nPlease note that significant construction will be going on in the Capitol complex this session.
