Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative has the vision that all people have a home.

We are an experienced housing organization that operates supportive and affordable homes, develops affordable and supportive housing, and organizes to impact housing policy.

We focus on households making less than $30,000 a year and those experiencing homelessness and/or facing the greatest barriers to housing stability. The nearly 100 congregations that make up our collaborative put their faiths into action through leadership, advocacy, organizing, and service.

About board service

Each board member is elected for a three-year term. We anticipate adding at least three board members for the 2024-2025 fiscal year.

Board members attend bi-monthly board meetings and serve on a committee of the board, which typically meets in the months opposite the board meetings.

Board members contribute financially to Beacon at a level they find personally meaningful as well as connect others to Beacon through their personal, faith, and/or professional networks.

Do you have questions about serving on the board? Please contact Heidi Goldman-Gray, vice president of advancement and communications, at hgoldman-gray@beaconinterfaith.org.

Applications accepted until May 31, 2024.
