September 2024 news from Beacon

Vista 44 is here: Get to know our newest apartment homes
The word “Wow!” has been echoing in the entrance of Vista 44 as new residents move in.
That’s because Vista 44, which provides 50 apartment homes for families, is beautiful! Get an inside glimpse and see for yourself by visiting our blog.
Beacon’s work doesn’t stop once a building is created. It takes about $1,000 for Beacon to ensure quality supportive services to the residents of one Vista 44 home for the month.
These services assist parents and children with everything from goal setting, family well-being, and financial literacy to finding employment or improving mental health.
Please donate today to support the families of Vista 44!

Introducing Beacon’s newest board members
Beacon welcomed eight new community members to our board of directors in August.
These volunteer leaders are charged with ensuring Beacon achieves the goals of its strategic plan, which include creating new, deeply affordable homes, investing in residents through wrap-around supportive services, and championing transformative policy solutions to ensure all people have a home.
Our new board members join a committed group of volunteers who’ve helped Beacon provide over 700 affordable homes to more than 1,200 Minnesotans.
