What is the Beacon collaborative of congregations?
The Beacon collaborative of congregations includes more than 70 faith communities that believe safe, affordable homes provide the basis for stable families and thriving communities.
Beacon congregations combine their energy and resources to advance equitable housing policy, provide funding for supportive services, and support the creation of new, deeply affordable homes.

How do Beacon congregations put faith into action?

Advocate
Participate in Beacon’s advocacy campaigns. It takes many people to reach out and show up to move decision-makers to action.

Organize
Collaborate with Beacon organizers and other congregations to build power, influence local leaders, and change systems. Form a team, get trained, build relationships, and mobilize in the name of “home.”

Raise your voices
We need clergy and religious leaders’ direction, presence, and support to influence decision-makers and inspire congregations.

Support residents
Support residents by providing donations, offering volunteer service, and advocating when deeply affordable homes face funding or policy challenges.

Donate
Help unlock the resources needed to reach Beacon’s vision that all people have a home by making a financial gift to support our work.
