In-Kind Donations Help Stretch Budgets
Gifts of food, clothing, household items make a difference
The season of generosity is upon us. In addition to financial donations, is your congregation looking for another meaningful way to help Beacon residents while engaging your members? Beacon’s Winter 2026 Donation Drive provides a way people can shop for residents’ most needed items and support their success while stretching tight budgets.
Please thoughtfully consider supporting Beacon residents near your congregation or home — ideally the one closest to your location. Between now and mid-December, consider purchasing and/or donating items such as gently used warm clothing, shelf stable unopened food items, and household goods. These items are difficult/expensive for residents to purchase. Beacon works closely with residents and onsite service partners to learn about resident’s most needed items as we invite generosity from the community.
Simple three-step process:
- Collect items at your home or faith community using the sign up links below.
- When all donations are collected or the deadline for item collection is reached, gather/box/bag them up neatly.
- Review the Sign Up Genius instructions for the building you are supporting. Donations can be dropped off at that specific Beacon building on the date noted.

Please note: The quality of your donations matters. For clothing items, please donate gently used items that you would donate to a friend. Avoid donating items that are too worn or too old to be helpful, broken items, or ripped/stained.
