2018 Gertmenian Award – Call for Nominees
The Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative Board of Directors and the Plymouth Congregational Church Board of Deacons are proud to present an annual award given to a member of the clergy in the Twin Cities metropolitan area who is passionate and publicly engaged to create homes and advance equitable housing.
The award is named for the Rev. James Gertmenian, former senior minister of Plymouth Congregational Church and co-founder of Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative. Jim has been a longtime champion to build quality, affordable homes, and an inspiration to his congregation and community.

- They will demonstrate moral courage combining personal, political, and prayerful approaches to raising consciousness about homelessness and solutions.
- Finally, they will empower others, including other clergy and members of their congregations, to take action to create homes and advance equitable housing.
