Staff Changes at Families Moving Forward
There are some big changes taking place with the Beacon shelter staff. First off, we thank Claire DesHotels for her work as the Case Manager at our Southwest site in Chaska. She leaves to pursue a Masters of Divinity Degree at the University of Chicago. We will miss her and are grateful for her always making sure our guests felt at home at the Southwest Program Center.
Rebekah Schneider, who has been the Housing Program Case Manager at the Hennepin Program Center, will move to Chaska to become FMF Senior Case Manager based in Southwest. Kayli Salin is moving from Case Manager to Housing and Shelter Case Manager based in Hennepin. Lisa Fontanna, Program Assistant in Southwest, is changing her schedule from working Sunday-Thursday to a Monday-Friday schedule, and the newest staff member at FMF, Anistasia Plekkenpol, will be our Sunday Program Center Assistant in Southwest.
Whew! We’re thankful for our amazing team of dedicated staff, and for their flexibility in embracing new roles and responsibilities. We look forward to continuing our work with each family in a way that fosters dignity and resilience.
